The country’s car giant and largest manufacturer Maruti Suzuki launched its “ecofriendly” car, EECO on 7th January at the 10th Auto Expo in New Delhi.
The EECO is powered with 1200 CC petrol engine. Addressing the press at the Auto Expo Maruti Suzuki India MD and CEO Shinzo Nakanishi told “Maruti Suzuki engineers have specially developed the Eeco, its new powerful engine and a new transmission system to meet the diverse consumer aspirations that look for a vehicle that fit a large family and at the same time provides flexibility for dual use”. He added that this EECO launch specifies the growth of Maruti. The car is launched with both 7 and 5 seater options.
The price of Maruti EECO variants are:
Eeco Non AC 7 seater – Rs2.78 lakhs
Eeco AC 5 seater – Rs3.40 lakhs
Eeco AC 7 seater – Rs3.45 lakhs
